Veteran Nigerian rapper William Orioha, known as 2Shotz, has disclosed the profound impact actress Beverly Osu’s assault allegations had on his life and career. Speaking on the Teju Babyface Show, 2Shotz revealed that the accusation, which occurred years before his marriage, triggered a series of irreversible consequences.
He recounted that Beverly Osu, who once appeared in one of his music videos and frequently visited his home, misinterpreted an incident during a heated argument. “My hand accidentally brushed her face,” 2Shotz explained, but this was perceived as physical assault.
The fallout was swift and severe. “Everybody tore me apart. I wasn’t getting shows, I wasn’t getting deals. I lost my house. I almost killed myself. I walked into water, and people had to pull me out,” he recounted solemnly.
2Shotz emphasised that the allegation misrepresented his character, insisting, “I have never been a violent person.” He described the period as one of the darkest chapters in his life, owing to lost endorsements, public criticism, and the breakdown of personal relationships.
