The New Democratic Congress (NDC) has firmly denied reports suggesting that its national leader, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is considering leaving the party, describing the claims as false and without basis.
In a brief statement issued on behalf of the party, the NDC’s National Publicity Director, Osa Director, said Dr Kwankwaso has neither threatened nor indicated any intention to quit the party.
“His Excellency, our leader, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has not and is not threatening to leave the NDC,” the statement read.
The clarification comes amid growing speculation over the former Kano State governor’s political future, with the party insisting that its leader remains firmly committed to the NDC.
