Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has firmly reiterated his allegiance to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), declaring that neither he nor his supporters have any intention of defecting to another political party.

Speaking amid growing speculation, Kwankwaso dismissed attempts by Nafiu Bala to stir unrest within the party, describing such efforts as futile and destined to fail. He maintained that the ADC remains united and focused despite external pressures.

According to the senator, there are indications that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), under President Bola Tinubu, is backing attempts to destabilise the ADC from within. He argued that these tactics are designed to distract the party and slow its rising political momentum.

Kwankwaso, however, insisted that such moves would have the opposite effect. “The more they try to hinder us, the stronger and more determined we become,” he asserted.

He went further to criticise President Tinubu’s performance, labelling it “miserable” and claiming it reflects a lack of confidence ahead of future elections. Kwankwaso suggested that recent developments signal a final effort by the APC to retain political relevance.

Concluding his remarks, he stated that Nigerians have grown disillusioned with the current administration and its party, expressing confidence that the ADC is well-positioned to offer a credible alternative.
