The high-profile event drew a host of celebrities, political figures, and influential personalities from across the globe. While many praised it as a grand showcase of love, some online commentators sought to pick faults with aspects of the ceremony.

Davido, however, dismissed all negativity in a post on X, insisting that the wedding was flawless and deeply meaningful for both him and Chioma.

“We had an amazing wedding, perfect in fact! Me and my wife body still dey sweet us like this. Nothing una fit do, say, or make up will ever change the fact that we had a fairytale wedding and one of the best days, if not the best day, of our lives! The whole world celebrated us!” Davido wrote.

The ceremony, marked by emotional highlights, included Davido’s heartfelt vows to Chioma and a moving tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi, symbolised through custom-made cufflinks.

Davido’s confident rebuttal has been met with praise from fans, who commend his focus on joy and gratitude rather than online backlash.
