Afrobeat sensation Kizz Daniel has declared a temporary hiatus from recording music to prioritize quality time with his family. In a heartfelt post on X, he shared that his loved ones have expressed feeling neglected as he has been dedicating much of his time to the studio. “No more recording for me…. Just enjoying life like it should be…. My family don diss me say I choose studio over them, I’m changing,” he wrote.

With over 600 unreleased songs in his catalog, Kizz Daniel feels it’s the right moment to step back and cherish moments with his family. “I have over 600 songs I want to dish out before I hang boot,” he added, indicating his intention to share his music before potentially retiring from the industry.

This announcement follows a fan’s observation of his rapid music releases, which prompted Kizz Daniel to reflect on his priorities. His recent project, the “Lemon Chase EP,” showcases his incredible talent through collaborations with top Nigerian artists, featuring standout tracks like “Black Girl Magic,” “Titi” with Fola, and “Al-Jannah” with Bella Shmurda and ODUMODUBLVCK.
