The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, has approved the appointment of fifteen new advisers and senior aides as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s administrative structure and strategic direction.
The appointments, which include a former senator, were announced in a statement issued by Mustapha Dawaki, Chief of Staff to the APC National Chairman.
According to the statement, the new appointees will serve as special advisers, advisers, and senior special assistants, with a mandate to bring their expertise, political experience and professional skills to bear in supporting the chairman’s leadership.
Dawaki noted that the move reflects Yilwatda’s commitment to building a more efficient, responsive, and forward-thinking national party secretariat.
He emphasised that the advisers are expected to play key roles in policy development, party coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strengthening the APC’s internal systems.
The party said the appointments take immediate effect.
