Former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, joined other prominent Nigerians and dignitaries at the launch of a commemorative book marking the 40th anniversary of Vanguard newspaper.
The event, held at the Civic Centre in Lagos, brought together political leaders, media executives, journalists, business figures and other notable personalities to celebrate four decades of the newspaper’s contribution to Nigeria’s media landscape.
Amaechi was among the distinguished guests who attended the ceremony, which highlighted Vanguard’s longstanding role in shaping public discourse and chronicling major developments across the country.
The book launch formed part of activities marking the newspaper’s 40-year journey, celebrating its history, milestones and impact on Nigerian journalism.
