Christopher Nkunku, a Chelsea attacker, has expressed his interest in joining Manchester United as talks continue for a potential swap deal involving Alejandro Garnacho.
Despite interest from Napoli, it is reported that only Manchester United has made a bid for Garnacho, which was rejected due to the Red Devils’ demand for a £54.8 million transfer fee.
Garnacho is believed to prefer staying in the Premier League, but negotiations between Chelsea and Manchester United are yet to be finalized.
Nkunku, who has struggled for game time under Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, is reportedly open to a move to Manchester United or Bayern Munich, with the latter currently unwilling to proceed due to a player’s reluctance to leave.
According to Sky Germany, talks are ongoing between Chelsea and Manchester United for a potential swap deal involving Nkunku and Garnacho, with the French international keen on a move to Old Trafford this January.
With interests from top clubs in Europe, Nkunku’s future remains uncertain as he looks set to leave Stamford Bridge for a new challenge.
