Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has reacted to the creation of a campaign council by the OK Movement, an emerging political support group linked to his supporters.

The former Anambra State governor has remained a prominent figure in Nigeria’s opposition politics since his 2023 presidential campaign, which attracted significant support, particularly among younger voters.
The development comes as political groups across the country intensify consultations and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
