In a thriving democracy, opposition plays a vital role, sparking debate and driving progress. In Abia, however, its purpose is not to unseat Governor Alex Otti but to sharpen his already transformative leadership—a mandate resoundingly endorsed by the people.
Recently, opposition voices have questioned Otti’s transparency, alleging vast sums spent on school projects, with figures in the billions bandied about. Sahara Reporters seized the narrative, aiming to ignite public discontent. Yet, Abians remain steadfastly unmoved. Their loyalty to Otti is unshakable, rooted in the tangible progress unfolding across the state. To them, the sums pale beside the remarkable transformation under his watch.
Attempting to turn Abians against their governor is a futile endeavour. Otti’s unparalleled goodwill and towering credibility as 2027 looms are nothing short of historic—potentially record-breaking. Unless divine intervention decrees otherwise, his leadership remains unassailable. In Abia, the voice of the people echoes clear: Otti is their champion, and their verdict is final.
