The Nigerian Army has expanded its housing scheme with the unveiling of new residential units aimed at improving the welfare of serving personnel and retired soldiers.
The initiative forms part of the Army’s broader efforts to address accommodation challenges, enhance the living conditions of its personnel and honour the sacrifices of veterans who have served the country.
Military authorities said the additional housing units underscore the Army’s commitment to strengthening morale, improving post-service welfare and providing decent, affordable homes for officers and soldiers during and after their years of service.
The development comes amid ongoing efforts by the Nigerian military to improve the welfare package for its personnel as part of wider institutional reforms.
