Madrid, Spain – Real Madrid are reportedly targeting Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen for a summer move as speculation intensifies about a potential blockbuster transfer of Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior to Saudi Arabia, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
The Spanish giants are said to be open to offers for Vinicius, whose compatibility with Kylian Mbappe is reportedly under scrutiny. A potential Saudi bid could reach €300m.
According to Fichajes, Real Madrid’s recent Champions League defeat has accelerated discussions about their attacking options, with Osimhen, currently on a prolific loan at Galatasaray with 28 goals in 32 appearances, identified as a key target. His estimated €72m transfer fee would be easily covered by a Vinicius sale.
While Manchester United have reportedly made an official bid for the 26-year-old Osimhen, and Napoli are willing to negotiate his price to avoid him joining Juventus, the Nigerian has previously expressed a preference for the Premier League.
