Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has announced his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, hailing the president as a distinguished son of Osun. The endorsement follows extensive consultations with key stakeholders across the state, including traditional rulers, civil servants, market leaders, and grassroots members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a statement released after a meeting with the PDP Leadership Caucus in Osogbo, Governor Adeleke outlined key resolutions, emphasizing his loyalty to the PDP, the party that propelled him to serve the people of Osun. He confirmed that the Osun PDP has unanimously endorsed him for a second term in 2026, underscoring the party’s strong popularity and trust among the state’s residents.
“I remain steadfast in the PDP, committed to delivering on our Five-Point Agenda with renewed vigor,” Adeleke declared. “The overwhelming support from the people of Osun continues to drive our progress.”
The governor also highlighted the PDP’s endorsement of President Tinubu for re-election, recognizing his contributions and ties to Osun State. “We proudly stand behind President Tinubu as he prepares for 2027,” the statement read.
