Geregu Power Plc has proposed a dividend payment of ₦9 per ordinary share, signalling confidence in its financial performance for the year ended 31 December 2025.

The recommendation was made by the company’s board of directors during a meeting held on 15 January 2026 and is subject to approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

In a statement signed by Gbeminiyi Shoda, the company secretary, the board also approved the company’s audited financial statements for the year, reflecting its robust operational and financial position.

“Recommendation of the payment of ₦9.00 per ordinary share as dividend, subject to shareholders’ approval at the Annual General Meeting,” the statement read.

The proposed dividend comes as Geregu Power continues to strengthen its position in Nigeria’s power sector, highlighting steady growth and shareholder returns in a challenging market environment.

The company’s decision will now be presented to shareholders for final approval at the AGM.
