In a fiery exchange, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and African Democratic Congress (ADC) traded barbs over attacks on prominent opposition figures, including Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Nasir el-Rufai, and Rotimi Amaechi.
The APC branded the ADC-led coalition a “clueless, pitiful gang” threatening Nigeria’s unity by undermining the North-South presidential rotation.
APC spokesman Felix Morka singled out el-Rufai, claiming his “fall from grace” and attacks on President Tinubu’s administration demand “forensic analysis.”
The ADC hit back, slamming Tinubu’s economic reforms as “heartless” and dictated by foreign interests.
ADC’s Balarabe Rufai touted the party’s “organic” vision, prioritizing Nigerians’ welfare over aggressive taxation.
The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) also weighed in, calling APC’s attacks on Obi a diversion from its governance failures, praising Obi’s consistent advocacy for transparency and poverty alleviation.
