The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has opened applications for a startup funding programme offering grants of up to $65,000 to eligible Nigerian entrepreneurs and other innovators across the region.
The initiative is aimed at supporting promising businesses, strengthening entrepreneurship and helping young innovators develop solutions capable of creating jobs and driving economic growth.
Nigerian startups with innovative business ideas and the potential for regional or wider impact are encouraged to apply, subject to the programme’s eligibility requirements.
Successful applicants are expected to receive financial support to develop and scale their businesses, while gaining opportunities to strengthen their operations and contribute to economic development within the ECOWAS region.
The programme forms part of broader efforts to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and private-sector growth across West Africa.
