Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has denied reports claiming he was arrested in London following an alleged altercation with his wife, Natasha Idibia.
In a video posted on social media, the singer explained that his absence from a scheduled UK tour stop on 2 October 2025 was due to a sudden health emergency, not domestic issues.
“First of all, I want to thank everyone who came out. I appreciate you. We had a medical emergency, it was tough. To the organisers and everyone that turned up, we’ll regroup and make something beautiful happen,” he said.
Addressing the viral rumour, 2Baba criticised those spreading unverified stories, urging people to fact-check before sharing. “If you don’t know something, please don’t say it. I’m tired of this ‘allegedly’ talk,” he added.
