It’s time for everyone to understand there is no true peace until you discover your purpose.
Education is good, earning good grades is wonderful, and landing your dream job is great but is that really your purpose?
If whatever you’re doing lacks the zeal to grow, if there’s no joy in the process, and the only thing that excites you is the money it brings then it is not your calling.
No matter how little the income may seem from what you truly love, you will always find happiness doing it. That’s the beauty of life.
Many of you don’t even need to waste years in school your purpose is already staring you in the face. But the fear of what people will say, or the pressure of seeing your friends graduate and go for service, pushes you to ignore it and chase what should be ignored.
This is why we often see graduates of high-paying courses abandon their certificates to pursue careers unrelated to what they studied.
Why waste precious years before getting on the right track?
You can still be in school and learn skills. You can earn a first degree, pursue a master’s, even a PhD-and still be unhappy with your job despite the fat paycheck simply because it’s not your purpose.
Of course, there are people whose purpose is tied directly to their academic journey. That’s why we have thriving medical doctors, lawyers, engineers, nurses, architects, and others who excel and find deep joy in their professions because that is their purpose.
Before you chase a career for its title or the money it promises, ask yourself; Does it bring me joy when I do it?
If not, you may end up frustrated, even while surrounded by riches.
Cheers to your success!
