Former presidential adviser, Babafemi Ojudu, has expressed concern over the malfunction of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) during the ongoing election, urging the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to move swiftly to address the technical issues.

Speaking after casting his vote at his polling unit in Ereguru, Ward 8, Ado-Ekiti, Ojudu commended the impressive turnout of voters but warned that repeated glitches with the BVAS machine could undermine the credibility and smooth conduct of the electoral process.

He called on INEC officials to promptly resolve the technical setbacks to ensure eligible voters are accredited without unnecessary delays and to sustain public confidence in the election.
