President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed that 21 shared Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) facilities established by his administration across 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are currently supporting businesses and an estimated 650,000 jobs nationwide.
The President made the disclosure in a post on his verified X handle on Monday, highlighting the Federal Government’s investment in shared MSME hubs through the National MSME Clinics under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The facilities allow small business owners to use industrial-grade equipment on a shared basis, thus reducing the capital barrier that previously prevented many from scaling production.
The initiative was intended to help entrepreneurs in sectors such as tailoring, food processing, fashion and digital services to expand output, cut costs and create more employment opportunities.
In a post on his X handle, Tinubu said the under the initiative, micro-entrepreneurs have been given access to modern equipment, reliable power and production facilities without requiring them to bear the full cost of acquiring such infrastructure alone.
“A tailor should not need millions of naira to buy industrial machinery before she can grow her business. A food processor should not have to build a factory before producing at scale,” Tinubu stated.
He noted that Nigerians do not lack ideas, skill or ambition, but too often lack access to the tools and infrastructure needed to turn them into successful businesses.
“Our job is to remove those barriers,” the President said. “When small businesses can produce more, at lower cost, they become more competitive. They grow. They employ more people. They create income and opportunity for Nigerian families.

“Giving Nigerian enterprise the tools to succeed is how we build prosperity from the ground up. That is the Nigeria we are building,” Tinubu said.
The 21 shared facilities form a key pillar of the Expanded National MSME Clinics programme.
Recall that Vice President Kashim Shettima has inaugurated several of the facilities in different states, including garment and fashion hubs, ICT centres and shared production spaces.
The hubs were established in partnership with state governments as part of the MSMEs’ clinics series.
In June 2026, while speaking at the 8th National MSME Awards in Abuja, the Vice President announced that the administration had institutionalised 21 state-of-the-art Shared Infrastructure Facilities.
He said the hubs provide affordable access to high-speed internet, modern machinery and collaborative workspaces—from digital hubs for tech innovators to shared production spaces for fashion designers—and had supported the creation of about 650,000 jobs.
