Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has said that the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not deliberately inflicting hardship on Nigerians as he mean well for economic development of the country.
This he confirmed to journalists during a press parley he played host in his country home resident of Keffi in Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
He averred that the current hardship in the country though not pleasant nor in the interest of Mr president, however it is a short term condition, that it effect has positive gains which will put Nigeria back on the track of progress.
Senator Wadada the chairman senate committee on public account is representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District in the Tenth National Assembly, urged citizens of Nigeria to exercise a little patient, give their support to the administration as it has the capacity to reversed the old orders, he added that aligning with the government will fetch the country great gains.
” And to be honest with you at the time this administration came in ,they needed much more than what it made in the coffers to set the entire machinery of government and governance running,the 2024 budget has been presented which also came with its own challenges followed by another supplementary budget ,Nigerians were now wondering and getting into much more confusion, so we had to go out all to let Nigerians understand the dynamics or the dynamisms of what made the dynamics of what happened the way it happens.
” Over and above all a new sheriff came to town , President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ,who see it ,know it and does it but he is not perfect,he’s got his weaknesses like anyone of us seated here.He cares for the people and he is concerned about the people.But where you are coming from must be the determinant or a catalyst or the ingredient that will drive you to arriving to your destination. Because nobody today will tell me that the Nigeria project is not confronted with a lot of challenges” Wadada stated.
He further explained that some of the challenges are possibly surrounded about with what was supposed to have been done that are not done or what was wrongly done , which is what the president is working hard to addressing it.
According the senator change is one of the most resisted activity in life ,never the less President Tinubu has come to face Nigeria problems the way it should be faced as such Nigerians need aligned with the administration to take us out of the woods.
