Peter Obi has dismissed the court-ordered deregistration of the NDC as a temporary setback, insisting it will not derail the coalition’s determination to pursue its political ambitions ahead of the 2027 general election.
Reacting to the ruling, the former Labour Party presidential candidate said the decision would not weaken the resolve of the movement, stressing that its mission to offer Nigerians a credible alternative remains firmly on course.
Obi acknowledged that political and legal challenges are part of the democratic process but maintained that the coalition remains united and committed to its vision for the country.
He expressed confidence that the setback would ultimately strengthen the movement’s resolve, reaffirming that the quest for change in 2027 remains intact despite the court’s decision.
