Former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai has now passed two full nights in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Daily Trust can confirm.

A source told Daily Trust on Tuesday that El-Rufai will remain with the commission until at least Wednesday, when he might be given administrative bail.
“He’s not going home tonight,” the official said. “I can’t say what happens tomorrow, but he is still here.”
