Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze’s potential transfer away from AC Milan is encountering significant obstacles as Fulham and several Spanish clubs express interest, but no firm offers have yet surfaced. AC Milan, having signed the Nigerian forward from Villarreal in 2023 for approximately €21 million, are open to letting him go only for the right price.

Transfer expert Marco Guidi told Soccernet.ng, “At the moment, he stays in Milan because no bid has arrived for him. AC Milan don’t want to sell him on loan, only through a permanent transfer.” The Serie A giants reportedly seek €20–25 million for Chukwueze, a figure that has so far deterred suitors.

“The asking price is around €20 to €25 million, not less,” Guidi added. Fulham’s interest is complicated by Chukwueze’s high wage demands, estimated at €4 million net per season, making negotiations challenging.

Beyond financial factors, tactical considerations add complexity to his future. Milan’s coach Massimiliano Allegri favours a system that may limit Chukwueze’s playing opportunities. Guidi explained, “If Allegri continues with his current tactical model, it won’t be easy to find a place for Chukwueze.”

Chukwueze, who has struggled for consistency since his move to Italy, faces an uncertain path as the summer transfer window nears closure. Fulham remain keen, but competition from Spanish clubs and wage questions pose hurdles.
