A fire broke out at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos on Sunday, prompting an emergency response from aviation authorities.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) confirmed the incident in a statement, assuring the public that there were no casualties or fatalities.
According to the agency, emergency responders were swiftly deployed to the scene and successfully brought the situation under control, preventing the fire from escalating further.
