The Acting National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Hon Nafiu Bala, has pledged to lead the party with a focus on unity, inclusivity, and internal democracy.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Monday, Bala said his leadership would work to strengthen the party’s structures and create a political platform that welcomes all Nigerians.
“I am deeply honoured to accept your endorsement as Acting National Chairman of the ADC,” he told party stakeholders, including members of the Board of Trustees (BOT), the National Executive Committee (NEC), state chairpersons, and the party’s 2023 gubernatorial candidates.
Bala promised to promote policies that reflect the aspirations of Nigerians while fostering alliances with groups and individuals who share the party’s vision.
He said his administration would prioritise transparency, grassroots mobilisation, and the development of an effective leadership team to drive the ADC’s agenda.
“Together, we will build a stronger, more united, and more vibrant political party capable of delivering a brighter future for our nation,” Bala said.
He , however called for collective effort, urging party members to work hand-in-hand in pursuit of the party’s goals ahead of future elections.
