The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), David Mark, has declared former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the man capable of leading the party to victory in Nigeria’s next presidential election.
Speaking during the official presentation of the party’s flag to Atiku, Mark expressed confidence in the former presidential candidate’s leadership and political experience, describing him as the figure who would steer the party to the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
“Atiku is the man who will take us to the Presidential Villa,” Mark said at the event attended by party loyalists and supporters.
The endorsement signals a major boost for Atiku’s political ambitions as the ADC positions itself ahead of the next electoral contest in Africa’s most populous nation.
Atiku, a seasoned politician and former vice president of Nigeria, has contested the presidency multiple times and remains one of the country’s most influential opposition figures.
