Former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, says he has remained faithful to his wife throughout their marriage, insisting that he has never had sexual relations with another woman since getting married.
Mr Aregbesola made the disclosure while speaking about his personal values and commitment to marriage.
“I’ve never slept with another woman since I married my wife,” he said.
The former Osun State governor said his position was rooted in his principles and respect for the institution of marriage.
His remarks have drawn attention online, with many Nigerians reacting to the unusually personal revelation by the former governor and minister.
Aregbesola, who served as governor of Osun State from 2010 to 2018, later became Minister of Interior under former President Muhammadu Buhari.
