Governors elected on the platform of Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have converged at the Imo State Lodge in Abuja for an emergency meeting convened under the leadership of Hope Uzodinma.
Among those present at the high-level gathering are Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State and Uba Sani of Kaduna State, alongside other senior party figures.
Details of the closed-door meeting were not immediately disclosed, but the gathering comes amid increasing political consultations and strategic alignments within the ruling party ahead of future electoral contests.
Analysts say the emergency session underscores the APC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen internal coordination as political activities begin to intensify across the country.
