Onu Abocho’s participation was hailed by members of the Igala Kingdom as an affirmation of the region’s commitment to engaging with national policy discussions on health and community welfare. His presence underscored the role traditional leaders can play in mobilizing local communities, promoting public-health messaging and supporting government interventions.

Speakers at the summit emphasized the importance of integrating traditional leadership structures into health planning and service delivery to improve outcomes, particularly at the grassroots level.

Observers noted that the event highlighted a growing trend of partnership between customary institutions and formal governance mechanisms as Nigeria seeks to address persistent health challenges across its regions.
