The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has declared that he is learning the art of politics directly from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he described as a master strategist and a guiding force for the ruling party.

Yilwatda made the remark during a media engagement on Tuesday, where he praised the President’s style of leadership and political experience, noting that it has become a source of mentorship for him as he steers the affairs of the APC.

“I’m learning politics from President Bola Tinubu,” the APC chairman said, stressing that Tinubu’s decades of political experience, organisational skill and coalition-building capacity continue to shape his own approach to party leadership.

He lauded the President for what he called his resilience, clarity of vision and commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, adding that Tinubu’s example has helped him better understand the demands of managing a national political organisation.

Yilwatda further pledged to consolidate the President’s political vision within the party, assuring that the APC would remain united and focused under his leadership.

The APC chairman also reaffirmed the party’s commitment to internal reforms, improved engagement with members across all levels, and the maintenance of democratic principles ahead of future elections.
