Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has issued a strong warning to terrorists and kidnappers operating within the state’s borders, declaring that they must vacate immediately or face decisive force from security agencies.

Speaking during a security briefing on Tuesday, the governor said his administration would not tolerate any form of criminality, stressing that the government is deploying every available resource to secure communities and safeguard residents.

AbdulRazaq noted that recent security breaches in parts of the state have prompted a comprehensive review of the government’s security strategy, resulting in reinforced operations across identified flashpoints.

“We are sending a clear message: terrorists and kidnappers have no place in Kwara State. They must leave now or face destruction,” he said. “We are working closely with all security agencies, and every tool at our disposal will be used to protect the lives and property of our people.”

He added that new tactical measures, increased surveillance, and strengthened community policing frameworks are being implemented to prevent further attacks and restore full confidence among residents.

The governor urged citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate with security operatives, assuring them that the government is fully committed to restoring peace across the state.
