Fresh controversy has trailed popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie as filmmaker and blogger Stanley Ontop claimed the actor has moved on with a new lover, sparking renewed speculation over his troubled marriage to actress Judy Austin.

Stanley Ontop, whose real name is Ajemba Stanley Chibueze, made the allegations in a post on his Instagram page on Monday, alleging that Edochie’s relationship with Judy Austin has completely broken down.

According to Ontop, the Edochie family has “cut ties” with their son over his marital issues. He further alleged that Yul has “dumped Judy Austin” and is now romantically involved with another woman.

In his words, “Yul has a new lover after parting ways with Judy Austin. They even share a favourite style in the bedroom. I will bring more updates soon.”

The post, which quickly went viral, drew massive reactions from fans who began speculating about the identity of the alleged new woman. Many mentioned a lady identified as Lizzy, asking for her Instagram handle and pledging their support for her.

A user, @eunicemikel, commented: “One thing I like about you before is that you mention names, but this time you didn’t give us a clue. It’s painful, Stanley.”

Another fan, @.queenella, wrote: “Wait, so there’s another lady after all this drama? Jesus Christ, who are these people?”

Others expressed disappointment over the actor’s ongoing marital crisis. @sweet2andle remarked: “Last last, be prayerful. How can a young man destroy himself within a twinkle of an eye? God abeg oh.”

The controversy adds another chapter to the public feud between Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, whose union has faced intense scrutiny since it became public.

A few weeks ago, an audio recording allegedly capturing an argument between the couple surfaced online, fuelling rumours that their marriage had hit the rocks. Since then, both have shared cryptic posts on social media but have not been seen together publicly.

Media personality Radiogad had earlier criticised Edochie’s decision to take a second wife, saying the move had “damaged his career” and urging him to make peace with his first wife.
