The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has declared that no politician has the capacity to sway Nigerians against re-electing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential polls.
Speaking in Abuja, TSG Director-General Umar Tanko Yakasai insisted that President Tinubu’s record of performance and reforms has placed him far ahead of the opposition. He dismissed critics, including Senator Kabir Marafa, who recently vowed to slash Tinubu’s votes in Zamfara by one million for allegedly sidelining loyalists after the 2023 victory.
“Senator Marafa has neither the influence nor the structure to take even a single vote away from President Tinubu,” Yakasai stated, branding the opposition coalition “a pack of dominoes” made up of politicians notorious for misrule and looting.
He added: “These are men whose legacies are failure and corruption. Nigerians know them well. If they attempt to rewrite history, we will expose them. The Tinubu administration has achieved much already, and it is delusional to think anyone can shake his support base.”
Backing the TSG’s position, Minister of State for Education, Professor Suwaiba Said Ahmed, declared there would be “no vacancy in Aso Rock in 2027.” She argued that the President was laying down a solid, irreversible foundation that would secure his return to office.
“President Tinubu has gone beyond quick fixes. He is addressing the root causes of Nigeria’s setbacks and building a permanent structure for growth. Our children and grandchildren will thank him. That is why Aso Rock will not be vacant in 2027,” she affirmed.
Yakasai further stressed that Tinubu’s economic reforms and governance style have already set Nigeria on a path of stability.
“Anyone who thinks they can convince Nigerians not to vote for him is either delusional or paranoid,” he said.
