Bayelsa Queens have solidified their place in the semi-finals of the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B qualifiers after a dominant 3-0 victory against ASKO of Togo. The Nigerian champions demonstrated their superiority from the start, securing a crucial second consecutive win in Group B.

The breakthrough came shortly after halftime when ASKO’s Oumou Bani inadvertently scored an own goal, giving Bayelsa Queens a vital lead. The momentum quickly shifted, and six minutes later, Alaba Olabiyi doubled the advantage, reflecting the team’s relentless attacking pressure.

Captain Shakirat Moshood sealed the emphatic win with a late goal, maintaining her impressive scoring streak in the qualifiers. Midfielder Vera Samuel earned Player of the Match honours for her commanding presence in midfield, orchestrating play with discipline and creativity.
