A group of youths has purchased and collected the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship nomination forms on behalf of former Inspector General of Police Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, setting the stage for his participation in the party’s primaries ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Nasarawa State.
The forms, obtained under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), were picked up and presented by the youth group on his behalf, signalling growing political momentum around the former police chief’s reported ambition to contest for the state’s top office.
While official statements from Adamu’s camp remain limited, the development has already stirred conversations within the state’s political circles as parties begin early positioning ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
Party primaries are expected to determine who secures the APC ticket for what is shaping up to be a closely watched governorship contest in Nasarawa State.
