The global chairman, Tinubu/ Shettima 619 Coalition groups, Ambassador Abdulmumin Salau, Thursday, faulted the statement that President Tinubu cannot fix Nigeria and the North will decide who to support in 2027.
In a reaction to the statement credited to Baba Ahmed, the immediate past political adviser to President Bola Tinubu, Salau described the statement as uncouth, vexatious and not tenable in any civilized society and should be jettisoned in all its ramifications.
In the statement made available to our correspondent, the group stated that “even a blind man can feel the impact of President Tinubu’s numerous remarkable and unprecedented achievements since his coming on board two years ago.
“President Tinubu’s reforms are institutional based, aimed towards a prosperous future for the betterment of greater majority of Nigerian youth, women and others.
“The infrastructural development and road network across the country further confirmed the veracity of President Tinubu’s impacts in states as enunciated by Governor A.A Sule of Nasarawa state,who said “President Tinubu has done more than enough in providing funds for states for developmental strides. “
The group advised Ahmed to take cue in the extra ordinary performance of inimitable Alhaji Tanko Yakassai, ex-political advicer to Alhaji Shehu Shagari,the legendary Chuba Okadigbo (Oyi of Oyi), the man with high political sagacity, late A.A Gulak and Professor Ahmed Alkali whose era was the golden era of Nigeria.
“Every right thinking northerner knows the role President Tinubu played in build-up to Buhari’s elections. He is a true son of northern Nigeria, hence his conferment with the traditional title of ‘The Jagaban.’
The group said President Tinubu’s determination to make Nigeria one of the industrialised nation in the comity of nations is not in doubt.
“Let all hands be on deck to achieve the desired goals aimed at working for the greater majority of Nigerians. Baba Ahmed and his co travelers should wait for Nigerians to decide in 2027,” the group said.
