Hon. M.A. Moddibo has empowered over 100 women in Yola North, providing each beneficiary with 20,000 naira to support their businesses.
The initiative is part of his broader efforts to combat poverty, reduce unemployment, and create economic opportunities in the community as he campaigns to represent Yola North in the State House of Assembly under the platform of the ADC
In a statement, Moddibo emphasised the importance of involving women in development projects, noting that empowering them is key to driving sustainable growth in the region.
The cash grants are expected to help recipients expand their businesses, improve their livelihoods, and stimulate local economic activity.
