Afrobeats superstar, Wizkid, has announced a reward of ₦7 million for anyone who can recover his missing phone. The phone was lost during his performance at the Nativeland concert held at SoL Beach in Elegushi, Lagos State, sparking a frenzy among fans and attendees.

The announcement was made by Wizkid’s official DJ, DJ Tunez, who pledged ₦2 million as part of the reward, adding to Wizkid’s initial ₦5 million offer. Fans eagerly anticipate the recovery of Wizkid’s missing phone, which reportedly contained important details.

The missing phone incident took place during Wizkid’s electrifying set at the Nativeland concert, where he performed hits like ‘Kese (Dance).’ The event, organised by media company Native, also featured performances by other artists such as Bloody Civilian, Ayanfe, Zerrydl, and ThisizLondon.

Despite the setback, Wizkid hosted an exclusive dinner for prominent entertainment stars in Lagos, including Olamide, 2baba, and Tems. However, the evening took a chaotic turn when the performance stage collapsed during rapper Odumodublvck’s set, causing panic and raising concerns about safety protocols.

This incident marks another stage-related mishap for Nativeland, following previous incidents of VIP stage collapse and crowd trouble. Critics urge the organisers to prioritize safety measures and invest in better structural designs to avoid similar occurrences in the future.

The event’s history of chaos and safety concerns has raised questions about the planning and management of Nativeland concerts, calling for improvements in stage design, security, and crowd control strategies.
