If it were easy, everyone would have made it to the top. But life’s battles, especially in a place like Nigeria, are never that simple. Power here is often wielded as a weapon to shatter lives and silence dissenters.
Peter, I understand your pain because I’ve lived through it, too. Until his removal and arrest, Emefiele ensured my life was a living hell. My family was shattered, my phone constantly monitored, my movements restricted, and my businesses crippled. The cruelest blow was when a legitimate N100 million consulting fee was denied me. In 2020, I was bluntly told that this financial encirclement was a deliberate punishment for opposing Emefiele. But in the end, who laughed last? Today, Emefiele is disgraced while I keep moving forward.
He once believed that being the CBN governor made him invincible, but in reality, he was merely a small man temporarily propped up by corrupt power. His fall is a reminder that no one who builds on lies and deceit can remain standing forever.
Peter, stay patient. The road to victory is never easy, but with God, it’s always certain. God remains the ultimate judge, and no one—no matter how powerful—can outrun His justice. Tinubu, too, will eventually fall into oblivion. Remember the story of David and how the patient dog ultimately gets the fattest bone. Those who trust in God, though delayed, will always emerge victorious.
If the path to success were easy, there would be no distinction between those who fought hard and those who didn’t. Keep the faith. Justice may be delayed, but it can never be denied.
