The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election committee in Nasarawa State has officially declared Senator Aliyu Wadada as the winner of the party’s governorship primary election in the state.
According to the declared results, Wadada secured a commanding 195,285 votes, far ahead of his closest rival, former Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Adamu, who polled 39,675 votes.
The announcement effectively seals a decisive victory for Wadada in the party’s internal contest, setting the stage for the next phase of the governorship race under the APC platform.
Party officials did not immediately disclose whether any formal complaints or disputes were raised by other contestants following the declaration.
