He never say no even if your demand may not come as expected on time yet he will fulfilled his promises.
Honourable Ishaq Kana would be remember for so many things begining from his days in Government House Lafia as one of the protocol officer then when Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu the first executive governor was in charge of the state way back in 1999.
Ishaq Kana demonstrated impeccable character by ensuring that rural populace and their communities access the seat of power with ease and table their request for development which saw to the creations of Chiefdoms and development areas.
Honourable Ishaq picked up interest in politics and contested election to represent the good people of Kokona West in 2003 and emerged victorious ,was sworn in ,while in the house the lawmaker again showcased an uncommon Legislative role .This time around what was then referred to constituency allowance given to lawyers for community development was not known to the electorates.
Ishaq seizes the opportunity and announced to the people of Nasarawa State his entitlements and how much a lawyer takes home on a quarterly basis for his people.This led him to having a little friction with his colleagues ,he served for a term of four years and in 2007 Honourable Ishaq Kana took a leap and contested for the federal house of representative against Honourable Ahmed Aliyu Wadada but failed ,however in 2011 he muscled up courage and was elected into the green carpet chamber of the National Assembly representing Kokona,Karu and Keffi,when he defected from the PDP and patched camp with the newly registered CPC.
His contribution to development knows no bonds his impact was felt in rural electrification, provision of portable drinking water, road constructions , youth and women empowerment among others .
Ishaq Kana was last seen on Sunday morning according to a source ,he died at an age approximated to be slightly above Sixty.As a Muslim he is married to 3 wives with many children.
