Tottenham Hotspur may be ready to part ways with captain Heung-min Son if a lucrative offer comes in from clubs in Saudi Arabia this summer. According to reports from The Sun, the South Korean international is being pursued by multiple Saudi clubs that view him as a marquee signing as he approaches the latter stages of his career.

Son, who will turn 33 in July, recently lifted silverware with Tottenham earlier this month, which could influence his decision to consider a move abroad. The report indicates that the billionaire investors backing the Saudi league have identified Son as a superstar target, especially in light of Cristiano Ronaldo’s impending departure from Al-Nassr after a trophyless two-year stint.

While Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah was initially a top target for the league, his new contract has made him off-limits, prompting attention to shift to Son. Last season, the Tottenham winger scored 11 goals and provided 11 assists under manager Ange Postecoglou, who clearly values him, evident in Son’s 46 appearances throughout the campaign.

Whether Son will ultimately leave remains uncertain, but given his age and recent accomplishments with Tottenham, he may be tempted to explore new opportunities now that he has secured silverware with the club he has represented for over a decade.
