Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has departed Abuja on a multi-country visit that will see him travel across Europe and Africa, beginning with France.
The trip, described as part of ongoing diplomatic and economic engagements, will also take the Nigerian leader to Kenya and Rwanda in the coming days.
While details of the agenda have not been fully disclosed, such visits typically centre on strengthening bilateral relations, boosting trade and investment, and addressing regional and global issues of mutual interest.
Tinubu’s tour comes amid efforts by his administration to deepen international partnerships and position Nigeria more prominently on the global stage.
