Senator Aliyu Wadada has reaffirmed his political ambition, insisting he remains undeterred by recent endorsements and is prepared to face any contender in party primaries.
Speaking in a recent statement, Wadada dismissed concerns over political alignments, noting that the endorsement of Abdullahi Sule does not preclude others from contesting.
“The choice of Governor A.A. Sule over me doesn’t stop anybody from running. I’m not afraid of going to the primary with anybody,” he said.
Wadada also called attention to the tenure of former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, urging a reflection on his record in office.
“Tell me what he did — the spectacular things he achieved as former IGP,” Wadada said, in remarks that appeared to question Adamu’s legacy.
The senator’s comments signal a potential intensification of political contestation within Nasarawa State, as key figures position themselves ahead of party primaries.
