Shettima Hosts Swiss Vice President Cassis in the Villa, Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Vice President Kashim Shettima played host to the Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Mr. Ignazio Cassis, along with his spouse, Paola Rodoni Cassis, and a high-level Swiss delegation, at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by Stanley Nkwocha, the Vice President’s media aide, the meeting is centered on bolstering bilateral relations between Nigeria and Switzerland. Key areas of discussion include trade, migration, and human capital development.

The Swiss delegation accompanying Vice President Cassis included Ambassador Patricia Danzig, Director of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation; Ambassador Philip Stalder, Head of the Africa Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ambassador Tim Enderlin, Head of the Peace and Human Rights Division; and Ambassador Patrick Egloff.
