Kaduna State Police have called in Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (Kaduna Central) for questioning over explosive claims of life threats and defamatory remarks targeting Governor Uba Sani.
In a sharp letter penned by CP Rabiu Muhammad, the Kaduna State Police Commissioner, the senator has been ordered to appear in person at the Kaduna State Police Command on Monday, 1 September, to answer these serious allegations.
The letter, dripping with urgency, states:
“RE: THREAT TO LIFE, FALSE AND DAMAGING ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HIS EXCELLENCY GOVERNOR UBA SANI OF KADUNA STATE
“We’ve received a formal complaint from His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, via the Ministry of Justice, accusing you of the above offences. You are hereby requested to meet with the Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Command, on Monday, 1 September, to address these claims. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.”
