History was made on Christmas Day night with the Tarok progressive youth Association first edition of End of year and award night were those who have carved a niche in advancing the course of development were awarded for their contributions beyond Tarok land .
Tarok Progressive Youth Association TAPYA is the umbrella body of all Tarok speaking youth from both Langtang North and South in the southern zone of plateau State ,North Central Nigeria who came together purposely to foster unity ,enthroned peace and work for the progress of their entity through impactful and gainful means that can transform all sectors of the economy.
On Wednesday the 25th of December 2024 the association in her end of year party decided to honour some of its illustrious sons and daughters for their contributions to the land and at the national levels, including the civil service and the private sector as well ain political politics.
Top on the list of the awardees are Senator AVM Napoleon Bali, Senator Simon Bako Lalong, Honourable Beni Butmak Lar , Chief Dr Nanzing Nden, Dr Nandul Durfa and Prince Nanchwat Garba. among many others who were awarded for their impeccable qualities in the development of the society .
Donations that trended in the occasion
from the dignitaries that graced the occasion include a Two Million and One Million in support of the TAPYA from Senator AVM Napoleon Bali and Senator Simon Bako Lalong respectively.
Observers Times report that the National President of the association Comrade Miri Timnan Nyantau since assumption of office as the president of the association has deliberately in his quest to unite Tarok people led to the success of the end of year party and award night which is the first ever ,that promises to be an annual event.
