Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso, has met with the Bank of England Parliamentary Affairs Team in Abuja.
The meeting took place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the CBN headquarters.
The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr Richard Montgomery, led the visiting delegation.
Officials described the discussions as strategic, focusing on strengthening financial cooperation between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
Cardoso welcomed the team, emphasising the importance of international partnerships in building a resilient economy.
The visit underscored growing ties between Nigeria’s central banking system and global financial institutions.
