Loitering munitions, often described as “kamikaze drones”, are capable of hovering over targets before striking with high precision, making them increasingly valuable in modern counterinsurgency campaigns.
The move comes as Nigeria continues to battle multiple security threats, including armed groups operating across the country’s northeast and northwest regions.
